As the election draws nearer, I am hoping that we can all just remember that we're in this together no matter who gets elected. These elections, particularly the last two have really polarized the country and it's quite emotionally draining to be arguing politics all the time with people you care about, but these issues are all very important to all of us for different reasons.
While I may often disagree with my coservative friends, I hope that I am able to remember, no matter what happens, that they are still my friends.

I think I am pretty happy, overall, with the new layout. The only thing I don't like about this particular skin is the fact that I am forced to use the search field in the top of the page. But like the overall look and feel.
What do you think?

I'm hoping to have my new Fender Strat this coming week. According to the vendor I purchased it from, Sweetwater.com, it should be ready to ship from their facility on the 28th of July. So maybe I'll have it by the end of next week.

Saturday morning. I woke up early today, as usual, around 5am...actually, that might be sleeping in a little for me.
Anyway, I've got a nice new HP laptop that I'm setting up for Sandie this morning, so no time to work on the web site today. I will, however, spend some time on it tomorrow morning.

So, yeah, here I am. I've joined the "blogoshpere." Are you bowing?
So, this is a blog entry. Not much going on right now other than having my back against the wall with work and having to work on learning this DotNetNuke software for a customer situation. It's currently 7:15pm and I've been working today since about 6am.
I'm pretty sick of working those kind of hours, but not sick enough to give up the paycheck I get from this job.
